West Caln Sportsmen’s Club Annual Special Needs Fishing Day
On May 13, our new Investment Specialist (and avid angler) Tim Grove joined fellow members of the West Caln Sportsmen’s Club in volunteering for the annual Special Needs Fishing Day at the Hibernia County Park Children’s Pond. This event, which has been held each year since 1987 on the second Wednesday of May, gives special-needs kids of various ages from all over the Chester County area the opportunity to “wet a line” in hopes of landing “the big one”! Tim and his fellow club members assisted the kids with baiting hooks, casting, untangling lines, unhooking and releasing the fish that were caught, and providing encouragement and cheering the young anglers on in their efforts. A wonderful time was had by all!
